So, talking about short and complex password. This kind of password can be cracked because they are small. Imagine a hacker performing a bruteforce on your password and as your password is small it can be cracked, although it may be complex but the time required to crack this password is less when compared to the long one.
Coming towards the long and simple password, they are comparatively stronger than the short ones. The time required to crack these passwords is more as the number of digits are more. Although the password is simple but as the number of digits are more and this is the only plus point of it.
So, who's winning it?
The answer is no one. Both of them are weak in either ways and can be cracked easily.
Then what kind of password is the strongest?
It's the long and complex password which wins the race. Yes, its the toughest of all.
The more the digits and the complex it goes, the time needed to crack it increases.
